Mishawaka Girl Scouts

Welcome Girl Scout Leaders, Parents and Girl Scouts of the Mishawaka Service Unit!

This site is designed to facilitate communication between parents, leaders, and troops within the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council Mishawaka Service Unit.

This is YOUR SITE!  Leaders, girls and parents alike.  We depend on your input and the sharing of ideas to support each other so nobody has to re-invent the wheel.  The best way for us to handle the growth of our neighborhoods and Service Unit is to support each other.  Volunteers are our most precious resource!

Who We Are

Girl Scouts of Citrus Council is a not-for-profit organization organized in 1956 - following the founder Juliette Gordon Low's guidelines - serving girls throughout Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties since 1956.

In Girl Scouting positive female leaders are the norm, not the exception. We help more than 16,000 girls a year in the Central Florida area to be their very best! One out of every seven girls in our area is a Girl Scout.

The council is a charter member of Girl Scouts of the USA- the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls - all girls - and a member of the following United Ways:

* Heart of Florida United Way
* United Way Brevard County
* United Way Volusia-Flager Counties
* United Way Lake-Sumter Counties

On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

I will do my best to be

   Honest and fair,

   Friendly and helpful,

   Considerate and caring,

   Courageous and strong, and Responsible for what I say and do,

And to

   Respect myself and others,

   Respect authority,

   Use resources wisely,

   Make the world a better place, and

   Be a sister to every Girl Scout.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
